Jimmy enjoys working with diverse communities. He is committed to promoting mutual respect among cultures by strengthening intercultural understanding in an Australia where no one is left unchanged because everyone learns from one another and grows together.
Beginning each relationship with respect, he specialises in collaborating with migrant, refugee and Indigenous communities to create engaging videos, photographic content and portraiture.
By listening carefully, he likes to connect with his subject, while documenting their story with honesty and integrity.
With close to 20 years of experience, Jimmy offers his creativity in the hope that communities can be seen and heard in a respectful way, collectively creating a shared body of knowledge to properly inform service providers on how to reflect the needs of those communities. Jimmy believes that organisations, businesses and all levels of government can create meaningful education campaigns and improve the services they provide by documenting and listening to the people within the communities they serve before directing services to help improve peoples lives.
